Secondary School Vacancies

All applicants for positions in the secondary school in either campus should be aware of the following:

  • they are likely to be required to act as a form tutor and take an active part in our PSHE programme,
  • the school is striving to develop a comprehensive programme of educational visits and a willingness to participate in these visits is essential,
  • they will be asked to run one after school activity each term.

Mandalay Campus

  • Art teacher: must be able to teach from Year 1 to Year 8.
  • Computing teacher: must be able to teach from Year 1 to Year 8. 
  • English teacher: to teach English to Years 7 and 8. The ability to teach a second subject is essential. 
  • Maths teacher: to teach maths to Years 7 and 8. The ability to teach a second subject is essential.
  • Mandarin teacher: must be able to teach from Year 2 to Year 8.
  • Myanmar culture and language teacher: must be able to teach from Year 1 to Year 8. 
  • Music teacher: must be able to teach from Year 1 to Year 8.
  • Physical Education teacher: must be able to teach from Year 1 to Year 8. 
  • Science teacher: to teach science to Years 7 and 8. The ability to teach a second subject is essential. 

We are no longer accepting applications for the following vacancy at our Mandalay campus as the position has now been filled.

  • Humanities teacher.

Yangon Campus

  • Head of the EAL Department: to lead a whole school department, i.e primary and secondary, currently consisting of four teachers, two expatriates and two Myanmar nationals. The ability to teach IGCSE English as a Second Language is essential. Whilst this vacancy is for an August 2018 an earlier start is possible.
  • Head of the Computing Department: to lead a whole school department, i.e primary and secondary. The ability to teach IGCSE and A level Computer Science is essential.
  • Maths teacher: must have experience of teaching Maths,  following the English national curriculum, at Key Stage 3 and of teaching at GCSE or IGCSE level. Experience of teaching A level would be an added advantage.
  • Science (Biology) teacher: must have experience of teaching Key Stage 3 science,  following the English national curriculum, and of teaching Biology at GCSE / IGCSE level and A level.

We are no longer accepting applications for the following vacancies at our Yangon campus as these positions have now been filled.

  • Business Studies teacher.
  • Drama teacher.
  • English teacher.
  • History teacher.
